Since I left Walenstadt in Swiss a few days ago. It became warmer and with the heat I had a harder time finding a place to sleep. I am not difficult to camp wild. But in the direction of Zurich that was quite impossible.

The Sun burned deeply on my skin. More often than once I had to stop and plunge into a river to cool off.Although I still had to push my bike once in a while because the Swiss thought it was going too easy for me
The bicycle tunnels in the mountains were a pleasant place to take a break, when you drive in the sun all the time and suddenly enter such a tunnel, it is quite strange. For a few seconds you see nothing at all. But it was pleasantly cool.

I have been on the road for quite a few kilometers , almost 700 and even 500 to go. The mountains have now become hills.

Since I saw the zurichersee, I was happy to be able to taste the City. I was very curious about Zurich
The road along the Sea towards the city was endless. I couldn’t find a place to pitch my tent, let alone a campsite where I could stand with my tent for one night. I was pretty despondent and the heat was warting me.
Because i still could not used hosting such as warmshowers or couchsurfing (unified) every meter along the Sea became heavier to me. It’s not all romantic that biketravelling. Find a place to sleep after a long, hard day. Possibly a shower. That must be sought every day. Over and over again. Sometimes you just wanna crash on a bed

I could see the city but getting there seemed almost impossible.
KM 70 of the day I had already touched, it became later and later and I became exhausted. My mood was far behind where it should be. As soon as I could have had internet I could search for a hostel , not imagine that Zurich had hostels, but anyway.
The city sees, smells and hears Money. You can almost eat from the ground. La bonne vie suisse.
Everything is clean, new and full of Porsche cayenne , Ferrari ,and boats , prada , louis Vutton ore something other fatsich ( that means ugly in my dialect) that blings. It’s all Bling white a Big B.
And Doktors, it seems that every second resident has a Doktor. I saw the Clinics one after the other, yes it was quit comfortable feeling , all that Doktors around, but not one chill spot for a very normal mortal guy from Grödig who just wanted to camp somewhere after a 70 Km of pedal day in sun?
The only thing i was thinking of was how do i get as soon AP out of this City, i hated it a little for a while. Also because i was tired, frustrated, angry about all the Decanted environmental life style where i absolute feel uncomfortable in. This is not where i wanna be. I felt alone, but how could i get outside ?
I could not give up, I literally had to gather myself together to come up with a plan B.
Till Wiki wake up in me, there is always a WIKI the Viking in everybody. I stopped at a Hotel searching for a Free Wifi spot. They had a garden on the water with a free public terrace. And yes I drank something and in return i could use the Wifi . I could quietly search for sleeping opportunities.

For a moment I thought of a hotel room until I heard the price. It’s also not what bike packers do but anyway. I was tired and wanted a shower. So yes for a moment it was on my mind, but just a second;)
Soon I searched again for free green strips on maps. It was a silly idea because every green strip belongs to the house owner next to it. Every free strip is surrounded by fences or walls as if King Willem Alexander lives there
Where I finally spent the night I will tell you later ,in another blog.

In the meantime, I have already moved quite far to the North, about 60 Km south of Strasbourg, German Side near the river Rhein.
I cross the borders France, Germany, Lichtenstein and Swiss, i learn everything about the region, wine and history. I chat a while white some old guys in a biergarten.

The trip from Zurich to Basel and where i and up now is quiet a story it self. I will tell you soon later what came on my path.
For now i gonna take a nap, tomorrow will be another long day pedaling.
