For years I have traveled this wonderful world of ours mainly by car or plain. I already live more than 3.5 years in Austria and use this travel blog to share my travel experiences by telling my experienced . Over time, I have become known as a down-to-earth Non-expert in two completely independent travel niches. The first is my overloaded, with 2 trolleys and a large backpack move to Berlin, by train. The second one is my always overloaded Car when I head out. I never thought about it – it’s funny how life works! But this tells alot about me.
I think bicycle tours are the perfect way to travel. You can move slowly enough to enjoy everything around you, while covering enough distance to move steadily through a region. It keeps you fit, is environmentally friendly and offers a perfect combination of challenge, adventure and achievement.
Of course you have to see that you are not overloaded. I naturally take more with me than I actually need, but that you already notice. I notice that all even more now i packed my bags on my bike. After all, I have to move my bike and it shouldn’t be too heavy for me.
I make a small calculation: 67 liters is If you take a suitcase as hand luggage, it weighs 12 kilos max. Then he is usually almost completely full of normal travel gear. I take 40-liter suitcase as an example. If it weighs 12 kilos including luggage, the suitcase with a capacity of 67 liters will weigh approximately 67/40 * 12 = 20.1 kg.
Count my bike = 11 kg and myself. So for now it fits perfectly , let see how i think of this all in a couple of days.
I intended to write down what I really have with me and where it is on the bike. Although I have a fixed packing order, but somehow it changes again and again. Very appropriate for me 🙂 The unpacking when i need stuff out of my bags will be a project by itself 🙂

Because it keeps raining cats , and dogs. Also a heavy thunderstorm is coming up , i use my Heading starttime to study my alternative fallback options and made some test rides so that I could already get used to the weight , i also did the maneuverability test.
Tomorrow it will be dry and sunny again. The showers during my test drives gave me a sign that rushing is rarely good. My feeling of waiting will be rewarded. Although I can’t wait anymore longer , i wanna bike … nowww ASAP
